Still in the enrollment process

Ok, my small private development company is now up and running. Now I am waiting to become an official iPhone developer. I do have some apps finished I’d like to test on a real phone,so I am really looking forward to get info from Apple.

Nothing complex yet, I just coded some fun applications I’d like to have for myself. One is yet another soundboard which I really wanted just for myself (but which I willalso put in the app store,of course) - the other app is a photo-fun-app, and then there are some games in the pipeline.

I’ll keep you informed on the status of my enrollment.

Easy way to prototype iPhone screens

Needed an easy way to prototype some iPhone screens. If you use squared paper with 5mm squares you can get an original sized iPhone sketch by drawing a 10 x 15 squares wide rectangle ( 5cm x 7.5cm ). Since the sketch will have the same size as the actual screen, you can also test how easy it is to actually use the interface.

If you want to transfer the wireframe from paper to the Mac, just keep in mind that each square is 32 pixels wide and high (64 pixels per centimeter in both directions).

Ok, the German beurocracy still withstands my spells. Will have to do some phone calls on Tuesday (Monday is a public holiday). Let’s hope I’ll get all the paperwork to get my (company) developer status atapple soon - I’d like to test my apps on a real device

Right now this site is pretty empty. I plan to change this Real Soon Now ™. I just started a small one-person company with the idea to sell fun apps and small games on the Apple App store. So I’ll blog about the progress I am making and as soon as the apps are finished, I’ll of course add some pages with screenshots, videos and general information about them.

In addition to this I’ll post reviews of apps and games I downloaded to my iPhone and post about the development of my apps and games. So, you will see mainly iPhone develpment related posts or reviews of iPhone games on this site. I will try to limit myself to these topics, but sometimes I might also comment on something geeky I just found on the interwebs.

Finally managed to set up the blog for this site which will be used as the new site for my new one-man-company named “spellcaster interactive.” The focus of the company are fun iPhone/ iPod Touch applications and games. Right now I am still waiting to be approved by Apple, as soon as I get the confirmation, I’ll submit my first application to the AppStore, which I’d like to call a “pretty simple yet fun time waster”.
